Brother Joe's Pizza in Hummelstown

Ever since the new management took over, this place is great. The guys that work there now are very friendly. If anyone is still avoiding this place due to the people that used to run it, I highly recommend giving it another try. The food has been great since they took over as well.

They require a mask be worn, and thats fine, but why are the workers not wearing masks. Especially when the food is next to the register where you are talking to customers, OVER TOP OF FOOD.

Terrible place, bad atmosphere and very rude personal. Said hi, nothing, said hello again and then she said what can I get you after 3rd time me saying hello, so she said hi and what can I get for you. Would not recommend this place, pizza was so -so too. Came here because of my son, he wanted very badly pizza

Since it opened under new management - the food is excellent. The old owners - not so much. For those that haven't tried it recently please do. Thanks.

This is not my favorite pizza place. The pizza kind of taste chewy. But besides that it is good and it's also affordable. The staff is very kind.

Best Pizza Sub shop in the area near. Hands down. No BS straight to it pizza sub shop. Puts Palermo’s and Joe Joe’s in Hummelstown to shame. Original old school. The way it should be and should stay. Oh’ and there sub bread puts all those in the area to shame as well. Keep doing what you guys are doing!!

After hearing they had new management thought I'd show my support. Glad I did had the cheese steak boli and salad both were very good. Owner was friendly.

Great tasting pizza. Not cheap, but worth it.

The food was good, but a little expensive. The customer service was average, but seemed forced. The place is clean, but could use some remodeling done. Didn’t use a restroom, so I can’t tell you what they are like. Overall I’m not mad at the place, but won’t go out of my way to come back. Brother Joe’s in Paxton Square is a more friendly atmosphere.

New management..clean and friendly. Had a chef salad. Best salad I have had in a long time and only $6.95..wow. will return.

The new management made some really great changes. The pizza is legit (if you're from the NY/NJ area and looking for a NY style, ask for their thin crust). Their toppings are fresh and tasty (green peppers have a nice crunch to them). Their stromboli is super good and they have a pretty good calzone too. Would recommend to anyone in the area looking for a reliably delicious pizza place

I don't know anything about the past management but all I know is that now they are awesome. Their pizzas are always fresh, hot and delicious. They are always very nice and welcoming. I highly recommend it!

This is by far one of the friendliest and best pizza shops in the Hummelstown area. I have found; you reap what you sow... when you're nice to people... the are nice back to you. I have experienced nothing but that, from Vito, his wife and his sons. I eat here regularly and will definitely eat there again!

Stopped for lunch, wish I didn't. Gut taking g order should be washing dishes some where else as he has absolutely no customer service, personal stromboli had 1 slice of ham, and a few pepperoni, was reheated in the microwave... very unfortunate, will never go back.

Pizzeria Pizza is the best, daughter enjoys the nice size slices of mushroom they use. I like stopping by for an hogie, but it has to be on pizza dough rolls which are used here.

I love this spot. I get cold subs here and their bread is incredible. Honestly can’t recommend enough. Staff are super nice too. Price also good in my opinion. If you’re looking for a solid sub shop to call your own I’d recommend them heartily.

Lol is this place serious? I walked in and the zombies behind the counter looked like they hated every part of being there. Ordered a slice for 2 bucks, give him a 10, he hands back a 2. When I say "I gave you a ten" he literally looks annoyed and grabs the EXACT change that was missing without even looking at the receipt again. Hmm...Really? For one slice?? 🤣

Horrible customer service and attitudes. I've seen some of the family members go into giant next door and yell at employees there. It comes across as adults literally throwing fits, and then they have the nerve to throw customer service in their face. They should definitely take their own advice. They shouldn't be telling anyone about customer service when they can't provide it themselves. They yell and have actually come around the counter and chased customers out. The place has been TO NEGATIVE AND CRAZY when I have been in there. My family and I are 100% done with this place. I never see them wash their hands either. They're disgusting and dirty. This establishment should be shut down, or new owners would be most welcomed in the community.

We were out in Hershey for a show, we arrived early so we decided to stop for pizza. One of the best pizzas we had in a long time, especially the buffalo chicken pizza, it was amazing! Friendly staff as well. I would definitely stop again!

Great pizza and fast service.

Great food. Only thing negative was I walked in at 8:30 pm, their hours are listed as 9 pm. They said your getting it to go right? I said well when do you close? I planned on dining in. They still tried getting me to take to go but I was there driving separately with a friend and I asked if we ate quickly if we could stay. They said yes but I felt they were slightly rude. So from now on I will just get there earlier. The pizza is amazing. Just not always the best manners from employees, but not so bad I wouldn't come back.

These guys have been under new management for more than a year - the food is much better and the people are great as well. The regular Pizza is awesome, but they also have stuffed slices, Sicilian, etc.The wings are hit and miss sometimes, but overall good food and great prices.

You know, a smile goes a long way. Even a simple "hello" goes a long way. I was traveling on the way back from my road trip to New Jersey, and then walked into Brother Joe's. First off, their attires were so unprofessional. They were wearing sweats and had messy hair, and looked like they had just got out of the bed. Then, the man didn't wear gloves while preparing my food, and the whole staff was on their phones and talking around. It's sad to say, but this is truly my first impression of the state of Pennsylvania, and from what I've seen, I don't like it.

This is my favorite pizza place and it's not even close. They also have a location on Allentown Boulevard, Route 22. Personally, I like that there was more sauce than cheese. At least it seems that way. The thin crust is also great.

I came from Lynn, Ma to Hershey City. I was looking for a small fast place to eat. I found brothers joes and it was the best food ever. I ordered a pasta and it was well done and delicious. Guy serving is really nice and caring. Best place I've tried food at. Really recommend it.

NEW MANAGEMENT!!!! Had the pleasure of speaking with one of the new managers here. Previous management GONE! This gentleman had a nice demeanor and understands the previous "reputation". My impression was that he understands "customer service" . Iwill be glad to try this place again . Lesson...never say "never".
